Geshelli Labs is excited to announce the release of our newest product, the Z-Blok.  If you don’t yet know Geshelli; they are a family owned and operated US company.  As one of the small number of true US audio manufacturing houses out there, Geshelli has paved their path by being known for doing their gear their way. This allows for greater creativity and unique products at a fraction of the standard cost. From design and PCB assembly all the way to woodworking and powder coating every member of the Geshelli family had a hand in creating this new and exciting product.

The Z-Blok is a fully balanced Monoblock style amplifier that offers low distortion and clean accurate power to enhance your listening experience. Inside the chassis, 40,000uF of total capacitance allows for greater dynamic response for your high load speaker requirements. This Class A/B, solid state, DMOS, push pull design, coupled with the toroidal based power supply, is a combo that offers up to 280 peak watts of output power. A great addition for speakers from open baffle to sealed.

Surrounding the well-designed circuitry, you will see and feel the elegant and beautiful handmade wood chassis accented with blind dove tails. With a choice of Walnut or Curly Maple, the Z-Blok is an audio device and a conversation piece. Finishing off the look is high precision laser etched aluminum front and back plates available in silver or black. The Z-Blok will be a stunner in any environment.

 As with previous Geshelli products, the Z-Blok name follows a trend in all the Geshelli names.  Each product is named after a person who has helped or influenced us in some way.

The Z-Blok is in homage to Geshelli’ s mentor and partner Mike Zaffuto.  Mike is a one of the rare humans that saw something in a guy barely out of his teens and decided to mentor, teach and befriend.  Geno, the designer of Geshelli products, came from the inner city of Pittsburgh. Rough around the edges but with raw talent. Mike a coworker and Professor of Engineering, recognized this and by teaching the old school basics and theory, he was able to turn that raw talent into Electronic Engineering mastery.

Both Geno and Mike loved music.  They dreamt about someday making their own audio gear.  A pipe dream back then, but Geno never forgot about it.  Fast forward through the years and different jobs, Mike and Geno lost touch.  That is, until a few years ago when Geno was telling his wife Sherri about Mike’s influence on him.  At Sherri’s encouragement, Geno found Mike through social media and all it took was one message.  The two reconnected and with greater knowledge and enthusiasm, they started working on combining forces and the result is the Z-Blok.  We hope you enjoy them as much as we do.
